Fix in this order

Ranked by how much each one costs the score, not by where it sits on the page.

  1. Rank trendFail-9 pts

    BSR #471 against a 90-day average of #366.

Rank is a sales proxy, so a rank drifting away from its own 90-day average means units are going somewhere else. Establish whether it is price, stock, a competitor launch or advertising before it compounds.

  2. Product descriptionFail-6 pts

    No product description found.

The description field is indexed and still shows on mobile even when A+ is present. Leaving it empty gives up both.

  3. Title lengthWarning-4 pts

180 characters against the 75-character Item name field.

Amazon generates its own split for titles over 75 characters and applies it after 14 days if nobody objects. Write the Item name and Item highlights yourself.

  4. Review velocityWarning-3 pts

584 new ratings in 90 days against 810 in the 90 before.

Reviews arriving more slowly than they used to is the earliest signal that sales are slowing, and it shows up before the rank does.

  5. Bullet pointsWarning-3 pts

4 of the 5 bullet points Amazon allows.

Unused bullets are indexed space given away. Fill all five, one benefit each.

  6. Offers on the listingWarning-2 pts

2 active offers on this ASIN.

Every extra seller on your ASIN is a share of your own Buy Box and a floor under your price. Brand Registry and a Transparency or Project Zero enrolment are what remove them.

Amazon reports 8,000 bought in the past month. At the current price that is roughly $79,920 of monthly sales on this ASIN alone, which is the figure the points above are costing a share of.

What passed (7)
  • Pass Images: 27 images on the listing.
  • Pass Video: 11 videos on the listing.
  • Pass A+ content: A+ content is published.
  • Pass Rank for its own keywords: Best position #2 for its own item type keywords.
  • Pass Star rating: 4.4 out of 5.
  • Pass Review volume: 29,283 ratings.
  • Pass Buy Box: A Buy Box offer is active.
Not scored (1)
  • Backend search terms: Amazon does not publish backend search terms for a listing you do not own, so this could not be scored.

Audit coverage

What the score is built from

  1. 01Content: title against the 75-character Item name field, bullets, images, video and A+.
  2. 02Discoverability: description, published search terms, and where the ASIN ranks for its own category keywords.
  3. 03Reputation: rating, review volume, and whether reviews are arriving faster or slower than they were.
  4. 04Commercial: Buy Box, competing offers, and rank against its own 90-day average.
  5. 05Every check that public data cannot answer is left out of the score instead of counted as a failure.

Reading the score

  • 85–100 Strong. Nothing on the page is holding it back.
  • 70–84 Solid. Real gaps, none of them urgent.
  • 50–69 Needs work. Something here is costing sales.
  • 0–49 At risk. Fix the listing before spending on traffic.

The score measures the listing against the checks above, not against the other listings in your category. A competitor can score lower and still outsell you.

Enter an ASIN and the audit scores the listing out of 100 across content, discoverability, reputation and commercial signals, then ranks what to fix by what each failure costs.

Why run an Amazon listing audit

Sales slip and the cause could be a dozen things. This narrows it to the part you can see from outside the account: the listing itself. Each check is a point where a buyer or Amazon makes a decision about your product, from the title and the gallery to the Buy Box and the pace of new reviews. The fix list is ordered by what each gap costs, so the first line is where to start on Monday rather than a list of everything that could be better.

What it cannot see

The score reads the listing, not the account: advertising, cost per unit and stock are invisible to it, so a product can score well and still lose money. Checks that public data cannot answer are left out of the score rather than counted against you.

Listing Audit questions

What is a good Amazon listing score?

85 and above means nothing on the page is holding the product back. 70 to 84 means real gaps with none of them urgent. 50 to 69 means something is costing sales. Under 50, fix the listing before spending more on traffic. The score measures the listing against the checks, not against your competitors, so a rival can score lower and still outsell you.

Can I audit a competitor's ASIN?

Yes. Any public ASIN works, and the checks read the same published data Amazon shows a shopper. The one exception is backend search terms, which Amazon publishes only for listings you own.

Does the audit need Seller Central access?

No. Enter an ASIN or an Amazon product URL. UNITIX Agency never asks for Seller Central credentials in a free tool, and you should not enter them anywhere outside Amazon itself.
